David Guest is an Investigator with the District Attorney’s Office in Colorado Springs, Colorado where he is assigned to Special Investigations and is a member of the Officer Involved Shooting and Homicide call-out teams. He was a member of the team that responded to investigate the tragic New Life Church shooting in December of 2007.
Before moving with his family to Colorado, David was a Sergeant with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department in California where he worked as a patrol deputy, homicide investigator, academy instructor, and as a patrol supervisor.
In addition to his twenty-five years of law enforcement experience, David has worked as a member of the security team at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California and is a current member of the security team at a large Calvary church in Colorado Springs. David has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration/Human Resource Management from California State University at Long Beach.
